1999.8.28 [DC3]
The top page was renewed, and "recent topic" corner has opened.
1999.8.9-11 [DC3]
I joined to 31th summer school of structural organic chemistry (Kobe). I was very sleepy because of forgoing lack of sleep for 3 days. I read a paper titled "Preparation of Ion Radical Salts of Spin-Polarized TTF Donors".
1999.8.6 [DC3]
I installed second hard disk to pentacle. When I tried to reload the data which I had moved onto a Macintosh to setup the PC, a disk error occurred to the Macintosh. As a result, preference files, spooled mails, etc. was lost. Moreover, the CD-ROM driver of the PC was out of order. I had to set up them for 3 days without sleeping.
1999.7.6 [DC3]
The hard disk of the Macintosh which I often use was broken. While it seemed to be safe after formatting, it disappeared again, and had to be abandoned. A week later, new disk was installed, but some file errors occurred to the backuped data. During these two weeks, I could no desk works.
1999.6.30 [DC3]
I read a paper titled "Preparation of Ion Radical Salts of Spin-Polarized TTF Donors" at the 4th International Forum on Hyper-Structured Molecules for Organic Quantum Device Applications (Oiso).
1999.6 [DC3]

1999.3.23 [DC2]
Home pages of Lab. were moved from dbs to pentacle, because some staffs of DBS had pointed out that students were using the server dbs, which belongs to DBS, without right. During reconstruction of pages, many accesses bothered me.
1999.1.3 [DC2]
Indexing /~naka/pref, /~naka/study, /~naka/logs was disallowed by robots.txt, while accesses to these pages are somewhy increasing.
1998.12.22 [DC2]
At the 2nd symposium of "Quantum Effects and Related Physical Phenomena" of CREST/JST. The tytle was "Spin Alignement in Spin-Polarized Donor Cation Radicals".
1998.11.24 [DC2]
The web server of Dept. of Basic Science (dbs) downed. Although it recovered within a few days, cgi and shtml files didn't work. I transferred my home page and lab's BBS page to pentacle. I managed to set up them for two and five days, respectively because I had little understanding about apache. This transfer may cause decreasing of accesses from several search engines which have been grown for long time.
1998.11.23 [DC2]
My collaborators, Y.Ishikawa and M.O.Sandberg read papers at the symposium of structural organic chemistry. The titles were "Preparation of Novel Spin-Polarized TTF Donors" and "Preparation and Property of alt-m,p-Polyaniline".
1998.10.12- [DC2]
New members of lab. joined to research activities. The lab. became very "young" one (concerning to students). The density of people in the room for synthetic experiments got higher, and it made this lab. vital (?)
1998.9.19 [DC2]
I read a paper at the symposium of molecular structure (Matsuyama). The title was "Magnetic Property of Oxidized Species of a Spin-Polarized TTF Donor". Dr. Izuoka also read a paper titled "Spin Alignment in Spin-Polarized Donors". I was one of the colaborators of the paper. I visited Shikoku for the first time. While other members of Lab. got on airplanes, I rode on trains. I enjoyed long trip.
1998.8.9-12 [DC2]
I joined the Summer School of Structural Organic Chemistry (Hiroshima). There, I read a paper titled "Examination of Magnetic Property of Oxidized Species of Spin-Polarized TTF Donors".
1998.1.31-2.3 [DC1]
I visited Philippines (Manila) to meet the partner of Nov. 29. This was 4th time I went abroad.
1997.12.18 [DC1]
I read a paper at the symposium of "Quantum Effects and Related Physical Phenomena" of CREST/JST. The tytle was "Preparation of Hyper-Structured Polaronic High Spin Molecules".
1997.11.28-30 [DC1]
I joined the 3rd World Culture and Sports Festival (at Washington D. C.). I went abroad for the third time. I also joined the International Holy Wedding Ceremony of 39.6 million couples on Nov. 29.
1997.10.8 [DC1]
I read a paper at the symposium of structural organic chemistry (Osaka/Sakai). The title was "Preparation of Polaronic High Spin Polypyrroles". Because I had changed research subject, it was difficult to show new data compared to the summer school.
1997.10.4 [DC1]
Dr. Matsushita read a paper at the symposium of molecular structure (Nagoya). I'm one of his co-workers. The title was "Electronic Structures and Magnetic Properties of Nitronyl Nitroxide Substituted TTF Donors".
1997.7.31-8.3 [DC1]
I joined the Summer School of Structural Organic Chemistry (Oita/Kuju). There, I read a paper titled "Preparation of Polaronic High Spin Pyrrole Oligomers".
1997.7.28-29 [DC1]
NHK "Science Eye / Nippon Meibutsu Kenkyushitsu" visited our lab. for recording. I had to run around like one of stuffs as a alternation of Prof. Sugawara, who couldn't leave from the front of camera.
1997.5.31 [DC1]
I read a paper at the 2nd International Forum on Hyper-Structured Molecules for Organic Quantum Device Applications (Sapporo). The title was "Preparation of Polaronic High Spin Polypyrroles".
1997.3.4 [MC2]
The result of the entrance examination for Ph.D cource was opened. When I told that to Mr.T of Sugawara's lab. in the next day, He said "Oh, I've found it. By the way, can I proceed ? " (What would he do if he had not been accepted ?)
1997.2.12 [MC2]

1996.11.4 [MC2]
At the 1st International Forum on Hyper-Structured Molecules for Organic Quantum Device Applications (Gunma/Kusatsu), I made a presentation for research introduction programmed for those who didn't read a paper. As that was like self-introduction, no one asked question to those except for me, while my presentation met many questions.

I read a paper at the Symposium of Structural Organic Chemistry (Nagoya). The title was "Preparation of Polaronic High Spin Polypyrroles".

The title was "Ground State Spin Multiplicity of Cation Diradicals Derived from Pyrroles Carrying Nitronyl Nitroxide". I explained the paper to Japanese audiences in Japanese, while the only one to whom I explained in English didn't understand it, and it was explained by Prof. J. S. Miller, who is very famous in this field.
